Call for Applications for the 2017/18 Enriched IT Activities Programme

OGCIO invites all government, aided and caput secondary schools, and local secondary schools under the Direct Subsidy Scheme to apply for participation in the Enriched IT Activities Programme. “Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) in Education” is selected as the theme of this year with an aim to stimulate greater interest of students in acquiring a better understanding of these emerging IT skills and their applications in education and other areas.

Technology Briefing Session

To assist participating schools in formulating proposals and dealing with technical issues in implementation, a technology briefing session has been held at the Lecture Theatre of Kowloon Tong Education Services Centre in the afternoon of 4 October 2017. Three Technical Advisory Panel members shared with the participants on various aspects of VR and/or AR deployment. The Presentation Slides can be download at below:

Schools who wish to participate in the 2017/18 Enriched IT Activities Programme should submit their application form (and the appendix) together with its softcopy in a CD/DVD/USB thumb drive by hand in a sealed envelope marked “RESTRICTED - Application for the 2017/18 Enriched IT Activities Programme” to the following address by 12:00 noon on 31 October 2017. Late application will not be considered.
